This mild mannered looking gentlemen is making a complaint. He is on the phone with the Riverside Transit Agency to complain about the bus driver. What did the bus driver do? Let me tell you

This guy first walked up asking for change to get on the bus while the bus driver was using the bathroom. He then set his large heavy duffel bag down on the bike rack outside on the front of the bus and walked away… Yes in today’s world he left his bag unattended at the Oceanside transit center. Where he went? In search of change I suppose.

While he was gone the bus driver returned, took our fares and started asking who’s bag was on the bike rack. It was none of ours (there were three other people on the bus) so he picked it up and tossed on to the curb. Just as he did this the guy came back, picked his bag up, paid his fare and got on the bus. Then he called to complain.

Now let’s think about todays world and how this could have gone. Bus driver calls 911 and the bomb squad comes. Man is detained, bus is delayed and we are all late to work.

Or

He tosses the bag on the sidewalk and we all go on our way.

I called up the RTA and left a positive comment with their comment section for the bus driver. I didn’t think it fair that he be punished.

While taking this picture the guy became upset and started yelling at me for taking his picture.
