Everyday I ride the bus, train, and sometimes the subway for more than two hours to get to work. I don't mind it because I read books, watch movies, take naps ..... and photograph humanity as it travels mass transit to and from. These photos capture a moment in time not to be repeated, the subjects the most pure forms of humanity. I try to create a back story for these people with simple one or two word descriptors. These are the people I see on the Bus.

The intensity of the conversation is palpable. The standing figure is begging trying to get their point across. The sitting figure is non-responsive. We’ve all been there; the one we love does not return our feelings.

Random guitar player at the train station. Accompanying him is this guy, who will loudly complaining about appearing in the wikipedia article about begging. The Begger did not want to have his picture taken, the guitar player’s only stipulation was no face shots. Always an interesting day at the train station.
